Covid 19 – Temporary suspension of operations

On Monday 23rd March the Government announced new restrictions on the movement of people and additional instructions on social distancing in order to slow the spread of the Coronavirus.

Having reviewed our operations and the services we provide in line with those recommendations, we have concluded that we are no longer able to provide a safe and compliant working environment for our customers, their residents and our staff.

Therefore, I have decided that all Mila Maintenance and Installation operations will cease until it is safe for us to return.

We hope this interruption to our services will be for the shortest possible time, and we look forward to being back and providing outstanding service and innovative solutions to our customers and their residents as soon as we can.

This is a time of great uncertainty for everybody, and decisions and actions which are unprecedented are having to be taken daily. Our concerns extend to all parties we are engaged with, customers, residents, our supply chain and of course our staff.
We are especially focussed on protecting our staff to ensure that each and every one of them returns to work at the earliest possible opportunity and can look forward to the long-term future well after this situation has passed. By taking the actions we have, we know that we will be back even stronger.

The government has announced it will review the position in terms of the movement of people after three weeks. We will listen to their recommendations at that time and provide a further update then.

Keep safe,

On behalf of Mila Maintenance and Installation
