Clyde Court is a 46-bed sheltered housing scheme, the first of seven Sheltered housing blocks across Camden be completed, with the installation of replacement fire doors to six further blocks planned as a part of an ongoing programme.
Residents were given the opportunity to choose from four colours and two styles of doors to be fitted to the front of their properties and adjoining bin stores. Additional doors were fitted to stairwells and other communal areas. In total 115 doors were replaced. The products installed were Sentry FD30 timber fire doors with Fireco automatic closers.
This was an opportunity for us to fit the new Fireco automatic closer on the fire doors we were installing, adding even more safety features for residents. They work really well and ensure that the doors comply fully with the latest guidance and thinking for the installation of fire doors into this kind of environment
