Works on the final block at Market Hill flats to install residential and communal access fire doors have been completed. Crosby House was the last of the three blocks to have works undertaken following the successful completion of works at Princess House and Sutton House previously. Reflecting on the programme Matthew Hubbert for Ongo Homes commented
“I am delighted with the way the replacement fire door programme at Market Hill flats was completed with so little disruption to our residents. Over three blocks each with 19 floors, and with the added requirement to fit communal access fire doors as well as residential ones, the potential for a negative impact on our residents was significant. Through close liaison with all parties Mila Maintenance and Installation ensured that residents were not inconvenienced at all by the works and were able to go about their day to day lives without disruption. The welfare of our residents is always uppermost in our minds”.
