Client had a window dome that also acts as a AOV. They needed to replace the actuators for the AOV, but were unable to since the hinges have rusted.
We sent out an engineer to assess if the hinges could be repaired. Unfortunately, the hinges are unavailable due to age of skylight so we quoted for it to be replaced with a new dome skylight. The new dome was fitted and the old skylight disposed of safely.
The repairs programme conducted by Mila Maintenance has helped extend the life of the windows by several years. This delayed the environmental cost that will come when the windows are replaced.
