Kelly Cooper's role at Mila Maintenance

As Office Administrator and PA to the MD I have a dual role, working on day to day tasks in relation to the operational side of the business, and then supporting the Managing director when required to enable him to fulfill his role within the company.

In terms of the day to day operations I support the rest of the admin team in inputting customer orders, answering calls, and booking appointments.  I also have responsibility for engineer’s timesheets and expenses, arranging accommodation for them managing company expenses and attending management meetings to record and then distribute agreed actions.

The biggest challenge I face is ensuring that all the actions required to support the Managing Director are dealt with in a timely manner so that he can successfully manage the business.

In a dynamic business such as ours, it means that no two days are the same, which is great, and at times like that you realise the importance of working with a dedicated and loyal set of colleagues.  I am a keen champion of the charitable causes we get involved in as a business, a key part of social value approach to business.
